Building Use Application

The building and its equipment may be available for use by groups or individuals of like faith and practice, as long as the intended use fits the parameter of our church Mission Statement. It is understood that SBC (Soldotna Bible Chapel) functions always take precedence. All applications will be reviewed as soon as possible after they are received. The applicant will be contacted by a staff member of SBC in answer to the request promptly afterward. In the event of inability to perform as agreed, the Chapel will refund the reservation or use fees. Use of the nursery, kitchen, audio/video equipment and gymnasium must be approved through its respective supervisor.

In the case of emergency, the Chapel may be available to government and emergency groups as well as for some public school needs.

The Chapel maintains the right to turn down any request.

*Weddings–in addition to this form a pre-marital application must also be completed.

**Please note that all functions held at the Chapel may not have any dancing.

***Building use fees may be waived for regular attenders, members, or supported missionaries.

A sound technician is required at $25 per hour.

A reservation fee of 50% of total costs is due at approval and will be applied to the total rent charge

Building use applicants must submit a Certificate of Insurance naming the Soldotna Bible Chapel as an additional insured.

Describe how your anticipated event fits into these objectives. If used in a spirit of community appreciation (fire, police, or school district, etc.), we ask that no tobacco, alcohol, or profanity be used on the church property. Those heading up the event or meeting will be responsible to convey the church’s wishes in these areas to those attending and to make sure that they are carried out.
